Additional Activities

Below are some additional options you may choose to enhance your visit. Price out your visit by checking out our admission rates page.

Spend some extra time at our Children’s Zoo presented by Valley Dental Pediatrics! Visit our goats, sheep, and other exciting animals at our children’s zoo.

Please note that you will be asked to use hand sanitizer before and after petting the goats & sheep. Complimentary hand sanitizer will be provided for you. Thank you for your help in keeping our animals safe!

Installed in 1920, the Ross Park carousel features sixty jumping horses, four-abreast; two chariots (one with monkeys) and an original fifty-one key Wurlitzer Military Band Organ. The City of Binghamton has begun restoration work on the carousel.

Leopard’s Spot Snack Shack is closed for the season. Light refreshments are available in our gift shop and our visitor kiosk.

As you exit the zoo, stop into our gift shop! From t-shirts, to adorable plush animals, the Zoovenirs Gift Shop has an assortment of souvenirs to remember your latest Ross Park Zoo trip!

Our docents love to educate! If you’re lucky, you may catch an impromptu animal spotlight put on by our dedicated volunteers. Spotlights are unscheduled, and based on volunteer availability.
